Great offense was not enough to slow down Notre Dame Prep Friday night as Saugus fell for the second week in a row.

Despite outstanding perfromances by senior quarterback Desi Rodriguez and senior runing back Ryan Zirbel, the Centurions fell 52-28 on the road against one of the toughest teams in the Southern Section.

Rodriguez completed 15 of 26 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown and rushed 27 times for 151 yards and a score.

Zirbel rushed 22 times for 218 yards and two touchdowns and caught 5 passes for 55 yards.

Next week, Saugus plays Crespi at College of the Canyons. Crespi comes into the match-up with a 3-1 record, their lone loss to St. Bonaventure.
