2022/2023 SENIORS

RILEY ALBISTON

BRANDON ARAGON

I have played football for around 10 years. I started in 2nd grade and continued from then till now. What I like best about the program is just the brotherhood, we are together all the time and just make the most of every moment. My favorite memory has to be our most recent win against Valencia 28-21, it’s a game I’ll remember forever. To underclassmen, make the best of these years because it’s some of the most fun times of your life so enjoy it. I would like to thank my parents and my family and also my coaches for allowing me to play this game that I love.

DILLION BOSHERS

ESTEVAN CALDERA

TJ CATALDI

I have played football since I was 7 years old.  What I like best about the program is the unity and culture of the team.  My favorite memory is beating Valencia at their place.  My advice to underclassmen is to buy into the coaches, stay on top of your grades, and stay out of trouble. I would like to thank God, my parents and family, my coaches, my teammates, and friends.

JAYDER FLORES

DAMIAN GARCIA

This is my ninth year playing football. What I like best about the Saugus Football program are the bonds you make during your four years. My favorite memory from Saugus Football was being able to win a league title at least once. I’d tell the underclassmen to enjoy it while they can because time goes by fast. I’d like to thank the coaches and my parents for nine fun years.

LANE GARNER

I have played football for 6 years.  What I like best about the program is the coaching staff. My favorite memory from Saugus Football is everything.  My advice to underclassmen is to know and do your job and to give restless effort.  I would like to thank Coach Bornn.

VINNY GALLAGHER

I have played football for 12 years.  What I like best about the program is Coach Bornn because I’ve known him for my whole life, he’s hilarious.  My favorite memory is winning back to back league titles.  My advice to underclassmen is every day isn’t gonna be a fun time, but winning is always fun so enjoy the dirty work.  I thank my brothers for keeping me locked in for these 12 years.

AJ GOODMAN

I’ve been playing football for 10 years. One thing I like best about the Saugus football program is that we’re a family. My favorite memory from Saugus football is playing for the freshman team. One thing I would say to the underclassmen is to play through the whistle. I would like to thank everyone that believed in me and help myself push myself further.

ANDREW GOMEZ

CODA HOOPER

I have been playing football since I was 7 years old, both flag and youth tackle. What I love about Saugus Football is how connected we are. Every member of the team, player and coach, truly cares about each other and their successes. My favorite memory about Saugus football is winning the league for the second year in a row last year. The emotions were so high and everyone was so excited. We all put in so much effort and sacrificed so much for it all to pay off in that way was amazing. The advice I would give to the underclassmen is to enjoy every moment, this is the highlight of your life, and you will never be able to relive your high school football career. Do everything to the fullest, because it all goes so fast. I would like to thank my dad for starting my interest in football at such a young age. I couldn’t’ve wished for a better father figure, who has coached and guided me in football and throughout life. I loved every football analogy and I am excited to see what the future brings in our relationship.

KHAI KY-YEITH

JADON LEMMONS

I have played tackle football since I was 5 years old. I like our culture the most and the way I’m being taught how to be a good human being. My favorite memory is winning league for the second time in a row and balling out with my teammates for sure. To the underclassmen, your time will come just keep balling out and show the coaches you’re the guy to trust on Friday nights. I’d like to thank God, my parents and all my coaches for the opportunities given to me.

ALEJANDRO MONTANO

JT MOORE

I have played football for the past 12 years with my dad as my coach and the person who showed me how to be a man, and I’d wouldn’t want to have done anything more with those 12 years. The thing I like best about the Saugus football program is the fact that it brings all of us guys together and I have made friends that will last a lifetime because of this program. My favorite memory would have to be between winning the Foothill League title for the first time since 2008, or beating Valencia for the last time of my life on September 16, 2022. For the underclassmen, cherish the time you spend with your team and the hours on hours you put in in order to become better athletes and better men. Don’t take it for granted because if you’re like me then you’ll regret it! Finally, I would like to thank all of my coaches and all of my brothers that played along with me my entire for years of my high school experience. And a big thank you to my family for supporting me along the way.

ETHAN PHILLIPS

DARIO SANDOVAL

WYATT SHARMAN

I have been playing football for 10 years now.

The thing I like best about Saugus football is the brotherhood that there is with my teammates.

My favorite memory from Saugus Football was my freshman year season and how fun it was to play that first year with my brothers. Some advice that I would give to underclassmen is just work as hard as you can all the time and do not take anything for granted because time goes by super fast. I would like to thank my parents for all the things they have done for me and all of my coaches that have coached me throughout my years at Saugus.

MATTHEW STIRWALT

I have played football for 8 years. I really like our Saugus Football culture in how we focus all on the team and not the individual. My favorite memory from Saugus Football was my freshman game against West Ranch where I made the running back fumble which changed the momentum of the game.  My advice to underclassmen is to just be nice to everyone. I would like to thank my brother for preparing me before every season.

AUSTIN TREAHY

I have played football for 6 years. What I love about Saugus Football is that there is a close bond with everyone on the team. My favorite memory was beating Valencia senior year. I would tell the underclassmen to take things seriously, and to never stop working to be better. I would like to thank my parents for supporting me through athletics my entire life.
